The main qualities that we are looking for when recruiting for interns are:
• strong passion for travel
• attention to detail
• high degree of numeracy
• excellent written English
• advanced level of computer literacy (this is vital – especially in the use of Microsoft word and excel)
To give you a flavour, work could include: copy-writing, database entry, the daily post run, putting together travel packs and getting involved with marketing – the list really is endless.
So you will not be sat on the side lines, you’ll be in the thick of it. As a means to go from 0 – 60 in as quick a time as possible in the travel industry, you can’t go far wrong.
